Haiti

As you no doubt have seen, our neighbors in Haiti have a need – and a major one.  The earthquake has taken a confirmed 150,000 lives and that number will inevitably rise.  Along with those who have lost their lives on this island only 600 miles off the coast of the U.S., countless numbers of children, women, and men live homeless because of the immense damage brought on by this natural disaster.

And so we have a choice.  We can sit back and watch, or do something about this tragedy.  So as a church, we have decided to do something.  We will be sending groups in February and June and possibly again over the next 3 years.  For the next several months we will be raising funds to send out teams of people to help clean up the damage done by this earthquake and build for a new, and better future for our friends on this hurting island.
